Life Drawing Session 20

We did the usual 3 minutes each for 6 quick drawings, but I found only 3 minutes for each drawing this time wasn't enough as were drawing our model this time with clothes on so it was quite hard to get all the detail down.

Then we spent around 15 minutes each on 3 drawings looking at the perspective of our model and the broom.

We then spend around 15- 20 minutes on the last 3 drawings. The first one we had to draw our model in a robe, we did this because it's generally quite hard to accurately know how the body is or looks under a robe and some people found it quite hard to draw him.

Life Drawing Session 19

We did the usual 3 minutes each for 6 quick drawings to warm us up.

We then spent 15-20 minutes on 2 drawings. For this we just drew the outline of our model and focused more on the background or what was surrounding the model.

Then we spend about 20 minutes each on the last 3 drawings looking at the models body and seeing how close which parts of her body was compared to the rest therefore making some parts appear far bigger than the rest.

Life Drawing Session 18

We did the usual 3 minutes each for 6 drawings as a warm up.

We then spend 1 minutes on each drawing while the model was moving and pausing. This is to help us draw quicker and to get as much detail of the models body and posture down.

We then did some perspective drawings for the last part.

Life Drawing Session 17

We spent 3 minutes each on 6 drawings as a warm up.

We then spend around 10-15 minutes each using different techniques to draw the model, first we had to do blind drawing (left side) then after we had to do continuous line drawing  (right side).

Then we had to draw the model using our non dominate hand.

We then spent the last parts using 2 different medians to draw the model, one light colour and one dark colour.

Life Drawing Session 16

We did the usual 3 minutes each for quick drawings as a warm up.

We then spent around 20-30 minutes each drawing drawing our model with frames. I found this very hard at first because I could't get the body/ body parts in the right place or the right size especially getting the negative spaces right. I found doing the head the most difficult because it doesn't actually really look like a t head in mos to the drawings.

Then spent the last 15 minutes drawing a foot or a hand.

Life Drawing Session 14

We spend the usual 5 minutes each on quick drawings.

We then spent about 20 minutes each drawing the model while looking at where the light is coming from to add tone.

For the next 2 two drawings we blocked off all light sources coming into the room as well as the lights while only one light source within the room like a projector to give off light. We then shaded in the drawing contrasting between the extreme tones that was on the model.

We then spend the last 20 minutes drawing the model, looking at where the light was coming from.
